Proper posture forms the foundation of all classical ballet technique. The focus is on correct foot placement, spinal alignment, a neutral pelvic position, an active chest posture, and the natural extension of the neck and head. Clear illustrations and explanations highlight common postural mistakes and contrast them with the correct execution.
